Youth Leadership Program

Our Youth Leadership Program is a campus-based leadership program for college students to equip them with skills for life and employment. Under this program, college students curious to engage on development issues learn about their rights and responsibilities, understand systemic inequalities, and build the confidence to participate meaningfully in civic life.

We work with 150-200 students annually from regional colleges in tier 3 and tier 4 towns, we focus on youth from marginalized backgrounds and first-generation college goers. Through interactive sessions and practical engagement, students learn various tools to become informed, engaged citizens who can bridge the gap between communities and governance systems. 

Our aim is for the nation's Youth to develop long-term democratic habits and become natural connectors between their communities and local administration, creating pathways for positive change.

Currently operating in Surguja District, Chhattisgarh, we have established our partnership with Rajeev Gandhi P.G. College, Ambikapur.

Youth for Development Internship

Youth for Development Internship is a collaborative effort with Zila Panchayat, Surguja. Our idea to enable college students to step beyond  classrooms and into the heart of local governance. Our first cohort of 18 students (14 female and 4 male) worked directly with community members in five panchayats, Gram panchayat leaders, district officials, and other local institutions. Our second cohort consists of 40 students who are interning with Zila Panchayat on various themes of health, education, welfare rights, gender and livelihood.
